Remodeling update~

It's really hard to tell how much we've changed just by the pictures, but it's soooo different! Paint, carpet, ceiling fan, baseboards, we tore out a half wall and tile, and put in the hardwood floors. It feels and looks so much bigger now.

Family Vacation~

This past weekend we went on a trip to South Dakota to visit the beautiful Black Hills. While we were there we went to visit Mount Rushmore(which was awesome!), Crazy Horse Monument, Old McDonald's Farm, and the Wind caves. Jim found out about the Wind caves in his Backpacker Magazine, and insisted we go there. I was hesitant at first, but they turned out to be AMAZING!! It is the 4th longest cave in the world, and is 125 miles long.....and they have still have not found the end! The hotel we stayed in was soo much fun because it had an indoor water slide! It was such a fun trip, but we didn't even scratch the surface of fun things to do, so we'll be going back soon!

Update~

Thought I'd give everyone an update on our little bebe! I'm
almost 4 months along now, and just starting to feel better!
We are due around Valentines Day and I am sooo excited!!!
I have a feeling that this baby might be a girl.......so we'll
see in a couple of weeks! Ultrasound pictures coming soon!

Happy Anniversary

HAPPY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!!! Wow! I can hardly
believe how fast the last 5 years has gone! I feel so blessed to
have Jim as a husband, and I am excited to see what the next
five years will bring!!

The newest addition to our family~

No, not the tiny baby in my belly, but an orange furry kitty! We've been talking about getting Preston a pet for a while now, and this Kitty just kind of fell into our lap! We've had him for a week now, and so far so good! No accidents and no destroying furniture. It has been wonderful for me because Preston has a constant playmate, they are always chasing one another. It's a good thing Kitty(that is his name for now) is very tolerant of Preston carrying him by the head, leg and sometimes tail!
