House Remodeling~

We started remodeling our house this week! It is so exciting to it transform into "our home!" There is SO much work to do, and we barely scratched the surface this week. We plan on doing all the work ourselves, so it will take awhile. This week we: sanded all the wood work on the first floor, primed it, then painted it white. We also scraped all the popcorn texture off the ceiling in the kitchen, dining room and living room. We then primed it and painted them. Last but not least, we painted the walls in the living room and dining room. We will keep y'all updated on the progress!

Buzz Cut

As you all know, Preston had the most thick, curly hair! As beautiful as it was....it was so hard to maintain...it was always sticking up all over the place! So last night I decided to take the clippers to it. It's a little shorter than I intended, but we still think it's really cute!

14 Months old Already!

Preston James is now 14 months old! Time

has flown by so fast! It's hard to believe

that I have a toddler now...not a baby!

He has 8 teeth, is 25 lbs and getting taller

everyday!! He is such a joy to be around!

The greatest thing lately is that he doesn't

get out of bed in the morning until after 9am!
We put him to bed around 8:30...so I guess he

is just needing his beauty rest! And I'm

catching up on mine!

Afternoon of fun~

It seems like a really long time since I've posted any pictures! I took these this afternoon while we were playing "trucks"!! He is such a boy, and loves to play with his cars, trucks, tractors........pretty much anything with wheels!

6 Fun Facts/Habits about myself!

1.) I'm a list maker, everyday I make at least 2 lists!! I have one for the things I want to get done during the week, and the other is a daily list. I know I'm getting a little crazy when my lists have lists!!!! :) But hey, my friends ask me how I stay so organized.......it's the lists!!
2.) I LOVE brownie batter!!!!!! I used to make a batch just to eat the batter, until I discovered that it now comes in tubes pre-made!!!! YEA!
3.) I like nothing more than cuddling on the couch with my sweetie and watching a good chick flick! Some of my favorites are: Phantom of the Opera, Sweet home Alabama, and The Notebook!!
4.) I love my elliptical machine! Preston takes his 1st nap around 10am, so that's when the elliptical and I have our date everyday! I turn on my favorite T.V show....and go! It goes by so fast, and since it has been so cold here lately it's worked out great!
5.) I love to get all dressed up to go out!! I'm serious! I love doing my hair, make-up, nails, picking out the perfect outfit to go out with my darl'en! There is just something about "feeling" pretty and feminine......(not being in the usual "mom" garb!)
6.) I'm some what of a clean freak! I love having a clean house! And I really don't mind cleaning at all...it's a pretty good workout! It's fun cause I've converted Jim, and now he is a clean freak too!!
