The newest addition to our family~

I am so excited we have finally bought a jogging stroller! It is now warm enough to go almost everyday, and Preston LOVES riding in it! Thanks to my wonderful husband, we got a fabulous deal for a brand new one on eBay!

Babysitting Weekend!

A friend of mine was in a bowling tournament out of town this weekend, so we watched their 3 girls on Saturday and Sunday. Ages 11, 10, and 2. It was so much fun! As you can see, I did the girls make-up, so they returned the favor and did mine! I guess they thought I needed longer eyebrows!

Happy Easter! No Easter egg hunts yet.....Preston was more interested in his new tractor and car than he was in his Easter candy(all the more for Jim and I).
I hope that all y'all have had a wonderful Easter! We are so thankful for this very special holiday and all that it represents!

MORE House Remodeling~

Yuck! Help me mom!

I'm stuck!

I was taking the paint tape off of the walls when Preston decided to walk through the pile of sticky wet tape. He wasn't sure what to think about the whole thing.It was so funny because the more he tried to get it off, the more it stuck!

This is just a small pile of debris that comes off of the ceiling when we scrape off the pop corn texture. Yuck. Now imagine it all over the house,carpet, and furniture!

Fun in the Winter!

As you other mom's know, it is hard to find new and exciting things for the kids to do inside during the long winter months! So as you know, we are remodeling....so this is one box of our new closet doors leaning on the coffee table! Instant slide!! Who would have thought he would have so much fun! (I wont take the credit, it was Jim's idea!)
Things are going well with the house. We painted a TON this week! We painted doors, trim, walls....you name it we painted it! As you can see in the picture above, the living room is now green. We'll keep you posted on the progress!

Trip to Idaho

I haven't posted anything in a while
because we've been on a trip to Idaho!

It was just a short trip, but it was

so nice to see family! We were able

to visit Preston's Grandparents,

and Great Grandparents on both

sides! I was worried about how

Preston would do in the car (it was a

12 hour drive) but he was SO good!

He mostly slept and watched movies.

I would definitely do it again!
