We started remodeling our house this week! It is so exciting to it transform into "our home!" There is SO much work to do, and we barely scratched the surface this week. We plan on doing all the work ourselves, so it will take awhile. This week we: sanded all the wood work on the first floor, primed it, then painted it white. We also scraped all the popcorn texture off the ceiling in the kitchen, dining room and living room. We then primed it and painted them. Last but not least, we painted the walls in the living room and dining room. We will keep y'all updated on the progress!

I guess that this means that you were able to buy the house! Congrats! That is so very excited! We are looking forward to seeing all of the fun pictures of your house! Hope that things go smoothly.
okay...i look at your blog every once in a while and I don't know why I have never commented...but it seems like you guys are doing great! your little guy is darling and i love his new buzz cut! too cute!
The remodeling has begun!! Of course you wouldn't do it any other way but on your own...at least we all know Jim wouldn't have it any other way. :)
